Valeria Crosley is the wife of ruthless gang boss Frank Crosley and the lover of Pierre Despereaux. She met Pierre while visiting her husband, who was serving a short sentence in a minimum security facility for a weapons charge, since the prosecution services couldn't manage to get him on anything more serious. She persuaded Pierre to demonstrate his devotion by breaking out to see her, using a visit from Shawn and Gus to facilitate this, then proceeded to set him up, leaving Pierre's signature cigarette at the murder scene of her husband. Valeria was in fact the true mob boss, and killed Frank and framed Pierre. She was captured and taken into custody by Canadian authorities.
