Tim Matheson is an American actor, director, and producer who has directed three episodes of Psych:
- S1E11 He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, He Loves Me, Oops He's Dead!;
- S2E2 65 Million Years Off;
- S3E12 Earth, Wind and... Wait for It.
Matheson served a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps Reserve during the Vietnam War. He is also known for his roles as Vice President John Hoynes on the NBC drama The West Wing and as Eric "Otter" Stratton in Nation Lampoon's Animal House. As an actor he often plays thoughtful, morally ambiguous but highly PR-astute characters. Most recently, he has directed several episodes of Hart of Dixie.
