When was the first time they actually called it "The Blueberry"? I'm re-watching the series and just heard it during Season 5, Episode 5 ("Shawn And Gus in Drag (Racing)"), is this the first time? I may have missed it in previous episodes.

That may be the first time when they actually call it "The Blueberry" in the show, but it was been called that implicitly/behind the scenes since Season 2, Episode 1 when Nigel St. Nigel (Tim Curry) says that being in the car makes him feel like he's being "incarcerated in a blueberry." --  Rain Thalo  talk  contribs  edits  email  21:03, June 19, 2012 (UTC)

It is clearly a Yaris! At least the photo in this wiki is definitely a Yaris. A simple Google search between the two cars will be sufficient to prove my point.

It it labeled an "Echo" as it is the Canadian version of the car, as the show is filmed in Canada, as well as the fact that it clearly labeled as an "Echo" and not a "Yaris."

The Blueberry is a Canadian market Toyota Echo Hatchback (XP10), the car in the show even retained the Echo badge. These were sold in the Japanese market from 1999~2005 as the Toyota Vitz, and later in some parts of Europe as a Yaris or Echo (varies by nation). Canada was a test market for the Vitz in North America, and they were sold from 2003~2005, notably this model was not available in the United States. The Blueberry is a 2005 model, as that was the only year to include a tachometer.
Adding to this, the 'big bumper' XP10 Vitz was only sold in Canada, and only sold as an Echo Hatchback. The Yaris nameplate did not exist in North America until 2006 when the second generation XP90 Vitz & Belta made their debut as the Yaris Hatchback & Yaris Sedan respectively. If you don't believe me, just do a google search for "Echo Hatchback" vs. "Yaris" and see what comes up, or even better read the wiki page.
