Singh works at Phat Thai Jones, an Afro-Thai restaurant that belongs to his father. When his father directs Shawn, Gus and Whip Chatterly to him with questions about Bob White, Shawn first believes Singh's Asian accent is put on and thinks it's rather offensive. However, Singh explains that he was adopted and actually grew up in Bangkok before his family moved to Santa Barbara three years ago.
Singh takes the three over to the table where Bob dined two nights before. He tells them he was one of the regulars and didn't have anyone with him because he wasn't in a relationship. He also says that Bob turned down his offer of plum wine because he's allergic to alcohol, which is strange as he was found with a blood alcohol level of .31. Singh does say that he gave Bob some plum cake, which is made with alcohol, but Woody and Grace Larsen know this couldn't have caused such a high blood alcohol level. After the three make it clear they would also like some plum cake, Whip recognizes a ticket Bob gave Singh and takes our duo to the next location, a retro dime-a-dance hall.

- Singh is one of several Psych characters to liken Gus to Bud from The Cosby Show.
- Singh also seems to make a brief appearance among the applauding audience in S8E3 "Remake A.K.A. Cloudy... With a Chance of Improvement", but this is not possible as that episode is set in 2006 and this would have been two years before Singh and his family left Thailand. The fact that Andy Berman is wearing the same shirt that he wore when playing Singh could very well be a continuity joke, or maybe it's just a coincidence.
