The Santa Barbara National Savings Bank is a bank in Santa Barbara. It features prominently in S3E8 "Gus Walks into a Bank" as the place that Phillip Stubbins has been manipulated into robbing and later takes hostages in, and it was also robbed off-screen in S8E7 "Shawn and Gus Truck Things Up".
In Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, Shawn can be seen moving aside a letter from the bank in order to show Alina an article in the paper.
Trivia[]
- Shawn doesn't like the bank because they rejected his small-business loan he wanted to use for a zip line snack transportation system inside the Psych office.
- The building that features as the bank belongs to the Langley Arts Council and is located at 20550 Fraser Highway, Langley, British Columbia, Canada. The address used in the episode is 1050 Playa Rose Street, but that's not an actual address in Santa Barbara.
