The Psych Omaze Screening was an event on Sunday 16 March 2014 where the winner of an online Omaze charity raffle (and one of their friends) got to watch S8E9 "A Nightmare on State Street" together with James Roday Rodriguez and Dulé Hill in New York before it would air the following Wednesday. Psych fans all over the world could buy one or multiple raffle tickets for $10 each and the proceeds went to Not on Our Watch, a humanitarian charity that provides resources to the victims of human rights violations.

- There's a pineapple plushie behind Dulé Hill during the announcement video, and he says the word twice while explaining there will be an extra prize if the winner can figure out where the word is hidden during the screening.
- The winner was apparently picked up from the airport in a hybrid of the The Blueberry and The Cranberry called "The Uebrerry".
- Dulé suggests three nicknames for the winner to introduce their friend by: "Bubbles McNulty", "Just Jenny from the Block" and "Dumb Starbucks". The first is a reference to the characters Bubbles and Jimmy McNulty from The Wire, the second is a reference to Jennifer Lopez and the third is a reference to Nathan Fielder's February 2014 parody law stunt chronicled in the Nathan for You episode "Dumb Starbucks".
