Flashback to the Teen Years is a Psych spin-off web series from 2009 that ran for 3 episodes. The short version of each episode is a minute long, to which the extended version adds about half a minute.

The series was written by Jason Berger and directed by Rob Pearlstein. Jake Borelli plays Shawn, and Dalpre Grayer plays Gus. The series is set in 1995 and portrays our duo as teenagers at the Leland Bosseigh High School in Santa Barbara.

All three episodes explain an aspect of the main series: the first explains that Henry is bald because Shawn tested a self-created hair gel on him, the second explains that Gus ended up working for Central Coast Pharmaceuticals because Shawn signed him up at their job fair booth, and the third explains that Shawn rides a motorcycle because he couldn't pass his driving test. The third episode also introduces Shawn's trademark phrases "Wait for iiiiit" and "I've heard it both ways."
