Remake A.K.A. Cloudy... With a Chance of Improvement
Priscilla Morgenstern is the receptionist at KRXJ. She has a romantic interest in her colleague Jackson Hale, but has a hard time getting him to acknowledge her existence. Jackson's distant attitude towards her is made even more hurtful by the fact that he's a true casanova and isn't particularly picky with his women. When Hale is murdered, her bottled-up frustration with his behaviour all comes gushing out as she is questioned as a suspect in court, leading everyone to believe that she's the culprit. However, it is then revealed that she has an alibi for the night of the murder. It turns out that she had been at the Santa Barbarbara Pub all evening in the hopes of making her move on Jackson, but eventually left disappointed and in a drunken haze with Woodrow Strode, in whose Airstream trailer she spent the night.
Cloudy... With a Chance of Murder
In the original episode, Priscilla Morgenstern doesn't appear as a character. The receptionist in that episode is instead called Priscilla Osterman, who turns out to be the culprit.
