Margaret "Maggie" Lawson is an American actress best known for her role as Juliet O'Hara on Psych.
Biography[]
Lawson was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Judy and Mike Lawson. Her mom was a homemaker, and her father a hotel manager. Lawson attended Assumption High School, an all-girls Catholic School in Louisville. She is the middle child of two brothers, Nick and Chris.
Although Lawson is best known for her role in Psych, she has appeared on a myriad of other shows, including Unhappily Ever After, Justified, Smallville, Rules of Engagement, Back in the Game, Two and a Half Men, and Angel from Hell.
Lawson dated her Psych co-star James Roday Rodriguez from 2006 until 2014. [1] She became engaged to actor Ben Koldyke in November 2014 and they married nine months later, in August 2015. [2][3][4] Lawson and Koldyke later divorced in early 2017.
Lawson is an avid animal lover and co-founder of the Tiger Frances Foundation, an animal rescue organization based in Los Angeles, California. [5][6] The foundation was included in Psych: The Movie as the home that had rescued Morrissey before William McGoldrick acquired him.

- According to USA Network's "Psych All-Night" event, Lawson's favorite Psych episode is S1E15 "Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast".
- She has appeared in several Hallmark movies, something that's poked fun at in Psych: The Movie when Gus says that "The Crimes of Juliet O'Hara" would be "a killer title for a Hallmark movie" and Shawn replies "Gus, don't be ridiculous. Jules would never do a Hallmark movie."
