Lily Nora Lassiter is the daughter of Marlowe and Carlton Lassiter. She resembles somewhat of a young Shawn at times, both because she is quite intelligent and because she can be rather cheeky in her interactions with her father.
Mentions and Appearances[]
In S8E2 "S.E.I.Z.E. the Day", Marlowe announces to Lassiter that she is pregnant with their first child.
In S8E7 "Shawn and Gus Truck Things Up", Lily is born in the back of Shawn and Gus's food truck ("Mash and Grab") while they are undercover.
In S8E10 "The Break-Up", Lassiter is seen talking to Lily over the phone at the police station. Lily is not seen.
In Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, Lily is not seen but Lassiter keeps himself going by reminding himself that Marlowe and Lily need him. He also asks his father "How am I supposed to teach Lily how to fly fish with just one working hand?"
In Psych 3: This Is Gus, Lily comes running out of the house up to The Dualberry when Lassiter arrives together with Shawn and Gus (greeting Gus as "Magic Head"). She wants her father to do her math homework for her, but he's having none of it. In a later scene, Lily comforts Lassiter when he starts crying during a heart-to-heart with Henry about his troubles. She also helps out on a case by telling Henry that the acid compound he needs can be found in the garage.
Trivia[]
- She is named after Timothy Omundson's two daughters, Lily and Nora.
- While the baby's gender was not announced, Carlton did refer to the baby as "little buddy" and was later found writing a letter to the unborn child, addressed as "Dear son", as he assumed the child was male. In "Shawn and Gus Truck Things Up", Lily was born, and all previous assumptions went out the window.
- The fact that Lily is already eleven years old in Psych 3: This Is Gus is most likely a continuity error out of convenience.
