Kenneth "Ken" Wong was (briefly) Shawn and Gus's assistant at the Psych office, until they fired him due to not making enough money to pay all three of them. They promised that when business picked up they'd hire him again. They asked for his help multiple times throughout the episode Romeo and Juliet and Juliet, thinking that he knew about Asian culture, which proved not to be the case. Later, Shawn and Gus ran into Ken at his new job, an amusement park worker, where he reluctantly helped them. He is portrayed by Jerry Shea.
Biography[]
Romeo and Juliet and Juliet[]
In Romeo and Juliet and Juliet, Ken was working for Shawn and Gus as their assistant at the Psych office until Shawn and Gus fired him four days after hiring him because "business was slower than expected". Later in the episode Shawn and Gus show up at Ken's house to ask him about the Santa Barbara Chinatown, and the Triad gangs that are from there. Although he barely knew anything about Asian culture, and only spoke a few words in Chinese, he managed to remember some information for them.
In Plain Fright[]
In the episode In Plain Fright, Shawn and Gus go to Scarefest, where they hide from Ken who's now working there. Later they need to get into the backstage area of a ride to investigate a murder, so Shawn calls Ken over and persuades him into letting him use his keys. Later they see Ken, who'd been fired for letting Shawn and Gus into the back room, and promise to help him find work (just not at Psych).
Hashtag Killer[]
In the Hashtag Killer web series Shawn and Gus called Ken for help, before Ken was kidnapped and held hostage by the Hashtag Killer. Shawn and Gus found Hashtag and knocked him out, but then left without untying Ken since they were unaware he was still tied up.
In for a Penny...[]
Shawn told Juliet that he called Ken for help with the case, but he hadn't called them back.
