John Ross Bowie is an American actor and comedian familiar to TV viewers primarily as Barry Kripke from The Big Bang Theory. His other credits include Joan of Arcadia, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Melissa and Joey, as well as a recurring role on Retired at 35. He portrayed George Cheslow on the USA Network hit series Psych in the episode "Weekend Warriors".
