Hank is the lead cameraman for the show Paths of Love. He is treated terribly by the producer of the show, Jay Gianukos, and it later turns out that the idea for the show was Hank's to begin with and that it was supposed to be called "Passing Ships". When Hank discovered that Jay had not made him a partner and was instead taking all the credit for himself, he was furious and became determined to sabotage the show by filming at the wrong times and eliminating its participants at any cost. Since he was the cameraman, he had prime access to all footage and could execute his plans without having to take all of the cameras hidden around the mansion into account. His first target was Todd Kramer, who was almost killed by a falling light while sitting in the hot tub and later nearly fell off a balcony due to a loose railing. Third time's the charm, though, and Hank succeeded in getting Todd off the show by cutting his brake lines and thus causing a car crash that left him in a coma. Hank hid the mechanic's gloves he used to cut the lines in Daniel Smith's cubbyhole in order to incriminate him and get him off the show as well, but when this failed he caused a gas explosion at the grill that would have killed Danny if Shawn hadn't interfered. He wasn't done with Danny yet, however, who again had to be saved by Shawn when Hank tried to kill both him and bachelorette Melinda during the final proposal shoot by replacing their parachutes with laundry. He was swiftly arrested and had fortunately not succeeded in murdering anyone, with Todd waking up from his coma two months later.
