Griffin Mahoney is a jewelry store owner, engraver and Civil War buff. He is portrayed by Peter Michael Goetz.
In "Weekend Warriors", Griffin is a key component of Carlton Lassiter's careful staging of his (Lassie's) great-great-grandfather's defense of Lawrence, Kansas in 1863. He is the quartermaster for the project, having the location and means to stores weapons, props and costumes, but it transpires that he has something more elaborate in mind this time. Under cover of the recreation, he plans to rob his own store and claim the insurance. He had intended to dispose of his co-conspirator, Sally Reynolds, but the unfortunate Nelson Poe saw him setting up the shot, and was killed instead. Griffin is taken into custody by Lassiter, along with Sally.
