EMT is an emergency medical technician who is part of the police team that rush to the crime scene of Dorian Creech's murder at the Santa Barbara branch of Central Coast Pharmaceuticals. Shawn, Gus, and Henry encounter him while Henry is loudly protesting the dynamic duo's reluctance to admit their involvement with the crime scene.
Undoubtedly having heard Shawn's made-up excuse of needing to take his father to the hospital to explain his disappearance the previous night to Juliet, EMT implores Henry to calm down and come with him to ensure nothing bad befalls him. His interference therefore allows Shawn and Gus to hide the truth for a bit longer.
