Dr. Butterfly McMillan is the coroner of the San Francisco Police Department in Psych: The Movie. She's the person who determined the cause of Samuel Sloane's death to be asphyxiation and who found his dongle in his stomach. She does not think highly of her assistant Woody.
Although Butterfly does not appear in Psych 2: Lassie Come Home, we learn that she has an infant son called Luca when Woody is face-timing Shawn and Gus and tries to stop the baby (who is off-screen) from playing with a spleen (again). When Woody later tells our duo his plan to stay at the Herschel House, he says it's okay because he's spoken to Butterfly and "she just wants me to live my best life. Also, she hates me."
