Beaten Criminal is suspected by El Proveedor to be an accomplice in Shawn's jewelry theft, as it was observed that Shawn boarded the black-market boat just behind him. He is in quite a bad state after having been beaten repeatedly for truthfully pleading his innocence, but is presumably set free when EP Henchman 3 walks in with a new clue regarding Shawn's whereabouts.
