Art is an old grump who lives in apartment 537 of 1101 Prospect Gardens and is therefore one of Lassiter's fellow tenants. As Shawn and Gus are talking to Lassiter about the mystery of the two elderly twins he saw (Beatrice and Birdie Turkle), Art angrily comes out into the hallway to complain about the noise they're making ("It's a hallway, not a nightclub") before going back inside.

- In the extended version of the episode, Art also comes out into the hallway to complain when Lassiter is talking to Amy Alleris. Amy tells him to "take that hairy eyeball in for a trim, you gloomy gus, you" and remarks to Lassiter that Art is "just a grumpy-pants 'cause his wife is dead".
