Alice Bundy was the lifelong best friend, the de facto sister, of Doreen Harthan, whose death while a member of the Beta Kappa Theta sorority sends Juliet undercover in "Scary Sherry: Bianca's Toast".

As Mary Lou Baumgartner, Juliet tries to strike up an acquaintance with everyone who was in Doreen's life at college, including Bianca and Alice. However, Alice has zero interest in getting to know her, and Alice's tale only really begins to unfold when she's approached by Shawn with a pineapple. Alice's bond with Doreen resembles Shawn's with Gus, and the two find common ground.
Unfortunately for Juliet, though, her snooping has not gone unnoticed, and Alice sets up an elaborate scenario to get her alone, then shows her true colors as a literal ax-wielding maniac. Juliet survives, and manages to restrain herself from finishing the job when the tables are finally turned, but in a rather poignant moment, Alice asks Shawn what he would do if it was his best friend, then he remember that Gus is trapped in Wispy Pines.
Later, in the Season Three premiere "Ghosts", Shawn mentions having visited her in prison to get tips regarding electric wiring.
